What a beautiful day in Philly. The Phillies are world champs and the Eagles move ahead of the Cowboys in the standings.
Few thoughts on the game... -Celek blew up. What a stud. I know the guy isn't going to have a lot of games like that, but when he is on the field, he is what LJ Smith was supposed to be. Give this man the starting job already. -McNabb showed composure and came back strong after the terrible start and horrible interception throw. Way to be, #5... -Reggie showin' some heart fighting for the TD in the 2nd quarter. I like that. -Defense was on point for all but maybe three plays this game (One of them being pretty obvious). I really like all three parts of this defense. Lito didn't help his case by being punked on the Hawks' very first play. B-Dawk should've stopped the play too but he overpursued. Oh well. -Akers looking like the Pro Bowler I know and love. Way to punch 'em through, David... -Trent Cole is my hero. That guy is a monster. Penetration to blow up the run, speed to flush the qb out... da man... -How the heck does Darren Howard have 6.5 sacks on the season?!? Next week's game is absolutely huge.
