Ehhh just because it keeps going back and forth doesn't make it a devensive battle or chess match. Sometimes (like tonight) it just means both offenses are sputtering

Greg Camarillo just became Favre's favorite target with that catch...lol.

Complete to Peterson for a loss of 3 and Minnesota faces a 2nd and 23.

Lewis gets a nice chunk of yardage back. 3rd & 11...

Camarillo can't make the catch. 4th Down.

  8. Surprisingly a low scoring contest....but it was a heck of a way to kick off the 2010 season.

Interesting game that brought up some questions about both teams, but that pretty much happens after every NFL game. Good win for the Saints.

The thing I hate about Thursday night games is that it seems to take forever for Sunday to arrive after them.

The NFL season has started and I'm happy as hell. :buttrock:

Well the saints are certainly beatable

We just couldnt do it with 2 starting CBs, Rice out, and a freaking idiot of a coach

I agree...Sundays...SOOOOOOOOOO far away. Can't come soon enough.

The Vikings can thank Favre's late arrival to training camp for that loss. There was obviously no timing between he and his receivers and that hurt the Vikes. Definitely the major problem for that offense tonight. They may pull out a win if they come up with some of those missed opportunities. Favre also looked tired out there towards the ends of both halves...

Saints O looked good for the most part.

everyone is acting surprised at what happened......... did we EXPECT the Vikings to be playing at a high level with so many players out and Favre just coming back?

i never got the feeling that the saints weren't in control of that game. the only parts of the vikes that looked good was their o-line. their o-line looked very good until mckinnie got hurt but their defense didn't look good at all, their coaching was awful (as usual), favre and the receivers were off......... but didn't we expect all of that?

So the old man still has an unfinished business with the Saints? I wonder if he had retired for health reasons, if the Vikes had pull out a win....
