this league doesn't exist, people consider the source. He just wants to get more advice from the grown ups that he so obsessively admires. A. It is not a competitive league, therefore the trade is meaningless B. If it was competitive and RF52 was such a good player to orchestrate the formation of such a good team, then he would be smart enough to know that the trade was crap and not have to post about it here where most people can't stand the kid. C. He is in an 8 man league where the other 7 owners are an assortment of his stuffed animals that he stole from the toys for tots bin at the supermarket last christmas (my vote for most likely to be the truth)
I was referring to RF52 as I said in my list of comments In regards to your deal: I wouldn't have made the deal. Basically you are in the playoffs and if you look at the teams that rodgers is playing during usual fantasy playoff time (weeks 13-16) he gets Carolina, Houston, @ Jax and @ Chicago, while Pennington during that same stretch gets @ St Louis, @ Buf, SF and @ KC, Pennington has the WAYYYY better matchups and in the playoffs, it usually comes down to matchups. Now as long as bush comes back and stays healthy and that you only start 1 RB, you should be ok at RB also considering that you have some nice depth at WR. The deal isn't a bad one, but if you are in a keeper league then I don't like the deal, because Hightower is a sweet keeper on a nice offense.
I'm not in a keeper league this year. I struggled with this trade, but i had no consistent QB, so I did it.
I would still play pennington over rodgers in those all important fantasy playoff weeks when he is playing san fran and KC
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to mike oxlong again. If it was a keeper league, I wouldn't have done it...but I like Rodgers and his potential over Pennington. BUt you still have both, so drop Flacco. Pick up a RB for depth and play the matchups. You still have Pennington right?
Pierre Thomas has to be out there, he's under almost everyones radar...Bush out, Deuce not (IMO) a full load guy on 2 reconstructed robolegs not to mention potentially Goodelled soon.
Yeah but I'm just saying until then THomas is not a bad guy to keep around if you hae the roster space. Deuces knee goes ding and Thomas is the guy.
If Thomas is out there, drop Flacco and grab him until Bush comes back. McAllister could be suspended at anytime for his 'steroid' deal. McLain is not necessarily a bad guy to pick up either. Is Ray Rice available? How about Jamaal Charles is he available???
