NEW YORK -- Manny Ramirez, Mark Teixeira and Ben Sheets were among 65 players who filed on the first possible day. Thursday began a 15-day window in which approximately 180 players can become free agents.

Eligible players may file through Nov. 13, and teams can start negotiating money with players the following day.

I'll be curious to see what Manny will get at his age.

Did you watch the postseason? He carried an outmatched Dodger team the whole way- a playoff contender will put up big bank for him.

Damn I hope we shell out the cash for Manny WE Need Him In LA. But CC and Rodriguez would be a nice Plan B.

Cordero could be a solid pick up for a reasonable price.

Let's see which players the Mets pick up :icon_cheesygrin:

1 superstar was not enough to make the playoffs. Maybe 2 or 3 help them to clinch the playoffs.
BUT as Rollins said, it takes a whole team to win a championchip! That'S what the Mets will NEVER get.

how many years in a row now have the mets signed or gotten the "missing piece" Our farm system has some real nice players coming up in the near future. The Phillies are a force to be reckoned with.
