Son Of Packers Offensive Coordinator Joe Philbin Reportedly Found In River

    The body of the son of Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin was reportedly found at the bottom of a river on Monday. Michael Philbin, 21, was last heard from at 2 a.m. Sunday, police in Oshkosh say. He was visiting friends in Oshkosh that night, according to The Associated Press. Authorities pulled a body from the Fox River in Oshkosh and, according to multiple reports, it was ID'ed as Michael Philbin. Packers GM Ted Thompson released the following statement earlier on Monday: "The Packers organization is aware of the missing person report regarding Michael Philbin, son of offensive coordinator Joe Philbin. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Philbin family during this difficult time. We ask anyone with information about Michael to contact the Oshkosh Police Department." In 2009, Michael Philbin was sentenced to six months in prison for sexually assaulting two young girls and two counts of battery.
