The Pittsburgh Steelers might have found their replacement for Larry Foote.

ProFootballTalk reported Monday that the Steelers and inside linebacker Arthur Moats have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, according to a league source.

Moats spent the last four seasons with the Buffalo Bills after being selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He started 12 games as Buffalo's weakside linebacker in 2013, finishing with 54 tackles. Primarily known as an early-down run-stuffer, the 26-year-old Moats becomes a logical companion with Lawrence Timmons in the Steelers' starting lineup.

Vince Williams and Sean Spence will also be in the mix for playing time at the position. The Steelers released Foote earlier this month, ending the veteran's long relationship with the team.

Good Signing! Fills need and lets Timmons play his natural spot at ILB. Will def help with the Steelers sub-par run defense last year and allows Spence and Williams to play sparingly in backup roles and in passing situations. I sense something was in the works before today because Steelers brass are in Orlando.
