After watching Reilly the last two games, he is really pretty good. Getting more reps in practice he would even be better. He did show he can take a shot. Unlike Dixon who is always (and always was in college) hurt. Perhaps they should keep him around on the PS.

 

Martin Nance has been cut.

The team also released wide receiverSteven Black , center Alex Stepanovich and safety Derrick Richardson.

Good idea to let the fans give input to the cuts but I think the coaches should do it just because it is somebodys job

 

With Stapleton done for the season Shipley could possibly make the practice squad...ugh...

That is when the Steelers visit the Carolina Panthers in the final preseason game for each team. Has 5-6 Stefan Logan played his way onto the team with the dynamic return ability he had flashed in the last two games?

I am excited. I am hoping that Logan makes it along with Redman. They showed a lot in the preseason.

Logan might only be a return man, but we have been missing someone like him.

Redman is our goalline guy. He showed what he could do by taking it 10 yards against the Panthers D.

 

Redman may be the odd man out, I've been lobbying for him also though

 

Yeah, that is what I am worried about. I feel that willie is going to be gone after this season.

 

On the plus side of things, our defense should be even better this year because we will be winning alot more field position battles with the emergence of a kick return threat and dan the man sepulveda back!
