Steelers linebacker James Harrison said the hit from behind that the Baltimore Ravens' Terrell Suggs leveled at LeGarrette Blount on Sunday night made it look like the linebacker was trying to hurt the running back. In the third quarter, Suggs arrived late and delivered a low hit on Blount. He didn't hit Blount's knees but he was flagged 15 yards for unnecessary roughness. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...-steelers-was-unnecessary-james-harrison-says
Harrison never went at a guys knee. Just the occasional helmet-to-helmet or hitting a defenseless receiver...lol
That's totally different than a guy being held up and then Harrison going for the knees in a dirty manner. Goofdell pretty much forced him to tackle low like that due to the fines and Harrison purposely said that to rile up Goofdell. . He never accelerated and went for a guys knees when the guy was being held up by two other guys and pretty much out of the play. You can say the guy plays rough, but he's never taken a cheap shot at someone like Suggs did...who btw got slapped a fine today.
both were on purpose. the excuse/reason means little. let's not try to pretend harrison is a clean player.
