Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not report to the Steelers offseason conditioning program Monday, according to a team source. After discussing whether Roethlisberger's presence on Monday would create too much of a distraction, the decision was made for him not to attend the team's offseason program. Last week, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said he expected Roethlisberger to arrive with the rest of the Pittsburgh veterans but now it's uncertain when Roethlisberger will report to the team.

Sexual assault. But I doubt the law wants to prosecute a "celebrity"

That's why I said "lucky" but evidently you missed that, unless it was intentional?

This is the worst idea not letting him report to team workouts. Now he's gonna head out to some other college town and try to take some more cat again. You gotta be smart NFL you keep Vick away from dogs, Jones away from coke, Pacman away from strip joints, and Big Ben away from college down and young cat!!

Funny how this article doesn't mention that there are other veteran players that aren't working...

The AP is also reporting the "full story," where ESPN selectively "wrote" their own...lol...

Keep him away until this is over with. Less media and distraction, the better...

I think this is a smart move. If he does go up the team workouts. The media would be all over him. Let it die down a little bit. THen come back closer to the season and workout with the team then. Big Ben is a veteran. I think he knows how to stay in shape by himself

Not a big deal. Aaron Smith didn't even know who was there today...lol...

Run, Lift Weights...if there's something you are going to miss, this would be the ideal "Team Workout."
