Steelers QB Dennis Dixon Out Six Weeks From Torn Meniscus

Discussion in 'Pittsburgh Steelers' started by BigBlueBruiser, Sep 22, 2010.

  1. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that doctors are now estimating Steelers quarterback Dennis Dixon's recovery from knee surgery today at closer to six weeks. Dixon suffered a torn meniscus on Sunday against the Titans. The initial prognosis was three weeks. The six-week timetable probably isn't enough to send Dixon on Injured Reserve, but he's unlikely to play again this season. Charlie Batch will start under center week three against the Buccaneers.

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

As soon as he's back in the lineup bye bye Batch (hopefully), although we don't need Dixon and Leftwich as backups.. seems unfair.
