Redman has chance to play key role The Steelers intend to find out if Isaac Redman can live up to the moniker he got after scoring three times against the first-team defense during a goal-line drill in training camp last year. Tomlin said Tuesday that Redman will get the first shot at the job of short-yardage back, a role the Steelers badly need someone to fill after the ground game shortcomings they experienced in 2009. Redman led the Steelers in rushing touchdowns (two) and yards per carry (5.0) among the running backs in four preseason games.
