I get that part how the nfl seems to think it is its own country and can pass judgment without due process, I mean unless there's video evidence. how do you get a grand jury indictment 14months after the fact with zero corroborating evidence ? I am supposed to believe that the one spot Bennett found to attempt to get on the filed wasn't under video surveillance ? meh, whatever.

The Cowboys have cut Dez Bryant, and even though his numbers no longer justified his massive contract and it was clearly time to move on, it still broke my heart a little. He just never got to the level of understanding he achieved with Romo. I did notice a lot of times Dak forcing the ball to Dez. He had like a 50% catch rate, or something, not to mention all those tipped passes that ended up intercepted. Romo could throw the ball with his eyes closed, and Dez would always catch it. Always. I the red zone they were unstopabble in '13 and '14. Such a shame he couldn't do the same for Dak.

Jason Witten is retiring and replacing Jon Gruden in the MNF booth. That one I did not see coming, but seems only natural. We're clearly transitioning away from the Romo era. This is Dak's team now, and the window with his bargain contract will close very soon. In two years, to be exact. Hall of Fame lock. Maybe even 1st ballot.
