well, the coach/GM thing rarely works out well but maybe he can make it work.

 

SHould be interesting to see if he goes after Mariotta...nothing stopping him now.

 

They would have to give up like 3 first round picks to get him. I hope that stops him.

 

As badly as the Bucs have been dying for their franchise QB, I doubt they'd give up a chance to get him at any price.

 

That's probably true as well.

 

I could see him giving up Foles, McCoy and a draft pick to Tampa for their pick...there's nothing stopping him now and maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think he's the biggest fans of either of those guys?

 

This was not about prior drafts. It was a power play by roseseman that ultimately backfired cause it led to Kelly threatening to leave unless he got full power. Gamble may be out but roseman didn't gain anything in regards to player decisions. In fact he lost it all.

If the eagles do not go far in the playoffs next year I'd be surprised if Kelly stays.
