    Yeah I was really looking forward to Prometheus too. I guess I went into it not expecting a prequel. I didn't expect the plot to follow the original so closely.

    And Heath Ledger as the Joker was one of the best acting jobs in any of the Batman movies. Too bad he will never be able to follow up his performance.

    Yes pretty much the only reason I was into Prometheus was because of Charlize Theron and not even she can carry a crapty movie. Heath Ledger was a great Joker, too bad he got into the drugs.

    Well I haven't seen Prometheus but read it wasn't meant to be a prequel, just a story that's takes place in the same universe as alien.

    Is it that bad?

    Well if that's the case then the movie makes sense then but I was under the impression ( mistakenly apparently ) that it was a direct prequel. Oh well there's worse times to spend an afternoon.

    I didnt think it was that bad at all, for the most part I thought they did a good job with it. Its definitely got some WTF moments and some hard to follow/confusing parts where the story just seems to jump around with minimal explanation...I suspect theres tons of film on the cutting room floor that goes a long way towards filling those gaps though. Scotts notorious for huge directors cuts that get way chopped down so they'll work in theaters. The full cut of that Jerusalem flick with Legolas in it was like 4+ hrs. Im curious to see if they release the full directors cut and how much it improves the movie.

    Also I read recently somewhere that Prometheus is going to be a trilogy, and the 3rd movie will lead right into Alien.

    Heath Ledger as the Joker was the best I have ever seen. You are right, it is a shame he died so young. Could have been another Jack Nicholas type actor.

    It is great I read that book twice. Salems lot is also good read that book too and the movie is good remember watching that as a kid.

    Just watched "Alex Cross",great movie,why critics bashed it like they did,i do not know why? it is an absolute great thriller,and other than "Argo",is the best movie i have seen all year.

    if the critics don't like a movie you can just about bet it will be a good show. they expect all shows to be full of depth and meaning. I like a movie to entertain me.
