"The Bridge." a pretty powerful and sad documentary about people who want to kill themselves by jumping off of the Golden Gate Bridge

i thought it was really well done. don't think it's something you need to see over and over again, and i don't know if i need to rush out and buy it, but i'm glad i watched it.

I've actually never seen On The Waterfront. I know it's supposed to be acting mastery by Brando. I've added it to my blockbuster queue.

it's worth cfreaking out. Brando does steal the spotlight on this one. it's even got one of the main guys from "12 Angry Men" (the old guy who was for the "guilty" verdict the whole time) who plays the main mob boss, and he also gives a great performance

History of Violence - I liked how they set it up, but after

[nsfw]they revealed that Tam Stalls was Joey Cusack[/nsfw]

I thought it was a bit far fetched, things he got away with and that whole scene where the wife gets the sheriff to leave and then she starts crying and smacking vigo and then out of nowhere, they have s*x on the stairs was just wierd.

It was cool seeing Philly in the movie and seeing Yuengling in the bar was a bonus.

Based on a true story and always having one of two hotties on screen most of the time....not too shabby.

I just watched the big wave surfing documentary, Riding Giants. Awesome. It's a great look at it's history, the surfing lifestyle, and of course great action. These guys have some serious balls to ride the waves they do.

That is a great documentary. If you liked that I think you'll like Dogtown and Z-boys, it's about how skateboarding became so popular. Great, great doc.
