"Owning Mahowny." excellent flick. another one i can't get tired of watching. very underrated

 

I love Owning Mahowny. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was great as usual in that.

 

indeed. definitely one of my favorite roles of his.

dammit, now i'm starvin' for some ribs with no sauce...

Car Rental Girl: They're free for customers.
Dan Mahowny: Great, can I have one?
Car Rental Girl: Well, you're not a customer, so...

great scene. i also love it when the auditors are in and once he spots them, he tries to leave the bank but is spotted by one of his co-workers, and he quickly says "Good morning" and walks back in. just subtle stuff like that, he's great at

 

He turns uncomfortable and awkward into an art form on screen. His subtle physical actions, pattern of speech, and delivery make me cringe constantly as if I'm not actually watching a movie.

 

Jeez is heck let me get you guys caught up with a few movies I've seen lately.

Mr & Mrs Smith: Seen it for the 3rd time, its good.
American Psycho: for about the 20th, keeps getting better every time. Recommend to anyone who hasn't seening it yet.
The Dark Knight: A 4th time... nothing to add.
Star Wars 1 2 3: I gotta say WTF! Man these movies are pure crap. Sorry to the Star Wars lovers around here Ronbart but I gotta be brutally honest. Other than Yoda and the Ewoks And Jabba and Darth Vader they sucked terribly. Most of the action scenes were lame and the Luke Skywalker actor is a feg. lameass crapty actor. Harrison Ford couldn't even save the movies for me. Princess Leah wasn't too bad either. Lol Jabba str8 up rocks. I've already seen the newer ones yeah there much better not sure if im going to go through them again.

Mike have you gotten around to watching Oldboy yet? I still have that on my PC but haven't watched it yet.

Watching Changeling now... sooo let me be fools.

I watched "There Will Be Blood" on Blu Ray last night, that movie gets better and better

 

Just watched the director's cut on blu-ray, it was really great. It really made me wonder what the heck new line did with the theatrical version. The director's cut was much smoother and explained things much better.

 

Just watched Night Watch....which is freaking awesome and Live Free or Die Hard which was eeehhhh.... ok
