meh...he could still have some good years left. Pronger's still a pretty good defenseman...but he's here for the short term. Lupul was going to be overpaid as far as salary cap numbers go so they're getting a little relief that way and first round picks in hockey aren't like first round picks in football...so I'm alright with Pronger in the short term.

 

Flyers signed Ian Laperriere today as well as brought Boosh back home.

What kind of message do you want to send to Crosby and Ovechkin?
"I think you know the answer to that. We don't want to premeditate anything now do we?"

How are you planning on defending the likes of Ovechkin and Crosby?
"Lot of back pressure, standing up at the blueline, not giving them any room to dip-si-do. I can get a chalkboard if you want."
