    Got home and turned it on right when Belgium scored their first goal. The announcers kept saying that Howard had a game for the ages with all of the saves he had.

    Belgium vs. U.S.A. was kind of like watching an NFL game with one team having 620 yards against 115 yards and winning 10-3.

    Oh, come on...it's always fun to watch Argentina get eliminated. They always want to fight the referee, the opposite players, the fans, the WC staff. It's my favorite part of the world cup!!

    I'll continue to watch the World Cup simply because the more I've watched it over the years the more I learn about the most popular sport on the planet (in terms of fan support). What I used to think was unadulterated non-scoring boredom I now appreciate the sport for its athleticism and strategies.

    Y'all got it backwards.. we had no defense.. If our defense was worth a crap they would have kept Belgium out of their defensive 3rd. But since they couldn't keep them out of our defensive 3rd the offense didn't have enough opportunities at goal.

    The only positive on the USA D was Howard, obviously.

    Not only in fan support. Worldwide, soocer has the most active players (only in Germany we have 6.5 millions players in differnt leagues) and probably making more money than any other sport.

    A little fact for this WC: The 1st time in WC history, all the winners of their group, made it into the round of 8
