I've been a backer of Reid pretty much without much sway...

but this really is what you and so many others have been talking about.

This was a freaking mess.

It is absolutely insane that a team with this much talent plays this crapty.

Andy has struggled early and made the playoffs, so I'll hold off final judgment for a bit longer.

 

You're content with just making the playoffs?

 

The problem is that the team still had gl;aring weakness after the FA spree. Your DL can get pushed in the run game, and with your LB's and Safety's, your prone to get gashed for down the middle of the field. Also factor in your putting your trust in a notoriously erratic QB, have a OL coach coaching defense, the Eagles had more against them then what they cared to see

 

just get rid of the whole coaching staff after this season

 

seems like groudhog's day to me.

* the defense has typically been weak against the run.

* the lb's typically suck.

* the safty position has been an issue since lewis and dawkins left

* the oline has been a mess since runyan & thomas left.

reid and his crew act as if they are smarter than everyone else and yet 11 other head coaches have won super bowls since reid came to philly. a good amount of those coaches were in the fisrt 5yrs of their tenure.

add to that reid's over the top arrogance when questioned about his shortcomings makes me wanna puke.

so, the eagles will struggle early, go on as tear and then lose in the playoffs once again in a game that leaves eagles fans scratching their heads saying how did the team choke another one away.

Honeslty, I think anything shy of a Super Bowl and Reid is gone

 

one can only hope.
