Bryce absolutely destroying it in the run game has me questioning why LeSean hasn't been able to do anything this season. Sure, Carolina probably didn't specifically gameplan for Brown, but the guy was running behind the same crap o-line that Shady has had to work with and had a lesser QB to try and keep the defense from stacking the box.

I'm a fan of playing the hot hand, especially at this point of the season... I say rest LeSean another week and see if this was a complete fluke or if the kid really has it.

Such a disappointing loss.

 

The 'Miss you, Juan' part comes off as a joke, but the defense/season fell to crap after that.

I don't give two craps what anyone says about the lack of quality teams we played earlier in the season. We see it every week: teams that should not perform well have monster games. It can happen any week. Castillo gameplanned for and ended up with very good results this season.

This season is such a damn joke. Kind of sad to come to grips that we are now officially in rebuilding mode.

I hate to say it, but if the coach we want is out there and available, we need to let Reid go and let the new guy take a look at the squad for the rest of the year. See what vets are doing the right things behind the scenes, who is giving the effort. Instill some of his philosophies now so it isn't entirely new come the offseason.

 

It was only half a joke. I highly doubt the defense would have been this bad if he stayed.

 

So is Bowles still the "Reid successor?"

Just heard. Not like it really matters as far as the team goes. But sucks for him.

 

Tough call now. He isn't impressing the fans or Lurie.

 

IMO this defense would be this bad no matter who the coach was. they quit on the head coach so the DC matters very little.

plus bowles can even run his defense as he's pinned down with the wide nine. washburn should've went before castillo.

in the draft i'd like to see the eagles get teo in the 1st and then grab d.j. fluker in the 2nd.

 

They didn't quit on the head coach until after he axed one of the only guys who should have been completely safe.

 

Te'o would be heckin' awesome. Then clearly we focus on OL and then maybe cornerback if Nnamdi is cut.

i agree i'm just saying i don't think anyone can really evaluate bowles based on the defense's performance.
