Funny how we haven't heard the complaints of the o-line even close to as much when Foles was behind center. Amazing what a competent QB with pocket presence and the ability to audible and change protections can do.

Don't give me the 'they've had time to gel' crap either. These guys are heckin' scrubs. Foles has gotten hit but he has also managed to produce and do the things QBs need to do to overcome poor line play.

 

The O-line did get a tad better, but without doubt his faster release has helped them.

 

And to think we were teased with this just a couple of years ago...

Yeah, it really sucks that we were teased with that. The team would have been so much better off overall if he would have sucked from the get-go.

Remember when Todd Bowles was being talked up as successor to Reid? Haven't heard even a whisper of that crap. Even though he crap the bed as fill-in DC, doesn't mean he'd make a bad head coach. Maybe that's why Lurie is taking his sweet butt time? Feels like he has a decent fallback plan if things look grim?

 

Lurie's taking his time because they have to wait until after the playoffs for certain coaches. Just gotta be patient as fans.
