The offense looks good so far today. 4-0 in the 3rd.

 

i'm listening to it on mlb.com I'm not in the mood to battle the kid for the tv.

Awful 5th inning by King Cole so far. 4-3 Phils and Braves have runners at 2nd & 3rd with 2 outs.

 

4th game in a row valdez has hit into a DP

 

I blame Chooch for getting on base so much. I miss Jimmy.

Looked like the Brad Lidge of old finishing off the Braves 1-2-3.

Good Bullpen effort today...

Finish the homestand on a win...taking 7 of 10.

 

Nice job by the bullpen retiring all 12 hitters.

 

Lidge and Durbin both looked good...err.. sounded good

 

Contreras too as he lowered his ERA to 0.84.

 

I missed him pitch... :icon_cry:

 

First time Contreras has pitched live in front of his mother...

Durbin struck out four of the six batters he faced, and Jose Contreras(notes) pitched the eighth on a day when both their mothers were in attendance for Mothers Day. Contreras' mom saw her son pitch in person for the first time last week, while Durbin's mom joined the Phillies broadcast team in the booth for a few innings.

I think he had it but then on 1 of the ankles it does look like it bounced a little.

 

I didn't notice any ankles...tee hee. I thought it was dropped live, but then thought he caught it on the replay.
