cubbies in town. think the phillies will give chicago a little taste of what's to come if their hockey team meets the flyers in the finals ?

Back to back poor showings by the offense, but nothing to sweat. They'll come around.

 

Not happy with Durbin's performance tonight, at all.

 

Durbin wasn't on tonight, but he's had a pretty good season so far. Even with these back to back losses, the team is 10-4 in their last 14 games. We're a tad spoiled.

 

I know... I've gotten too use to winning I don't like anything less then a win.

 

long season. have a feeling there may be a re-match of two years ago down the road.

Red Sox are hurting us

 

Ellsbury's diving catch of the Ibanez line drive is like the millionth time this season that Raul has hit the ball hard but been robbed or hit it right at someone. His average is no indication of how he's hit the ball.

 

red sox always dominate us. With a win today they will have won 11 of 15 at CPB.

So Howard is 2nd in voting for the All-Star game and yet Rollins is in 1st. lol

 

and yet they determine HFA for the world series based on the winner of the all-star game.

 

Bases loaded with nobody out and the Phillies don't score. Ugh.

 

Polanco, Werth, Victorino and Utley are first as well...

I thought I heard them say that Utley was leading the NL in votes overall.

 

Howard and Ruiz are in second place at their positions. Utley was at 687,724 and Pujols was next closest with 647,666.
