Lee lost last night because the defense couldn't hold a two-run lead late. It wasn't because of anything he did.

BTW, I'm praying to the baseball gods that the Phillies get him instead of the Yankees next season.

What are the odds of that happening?

 

no matter tthe reason he has come up empty against them lately. just taking a fun shot at him. the guy is a gamer but there is zero chance the phillies get him. they have oswalt and mya keep him for his option year if he works out this year and next.

personally it would be nice to see texas keep lee. i think ryan will make a very strong push to keep him.

See if you can find a copy of last night's game. I've heard he gave a look of pure disgust in the dugout after he came out in the eighth inning. I doubt he's coming back here next season, and I have a feeling that the Rangers fans are going to blame Ryan and Greenberg for it.

 

Oswalt wins again. He still has the worst run support on the season for starters and still has his best whip and k's / 9 innings since his rookie season. Oswalt is a beast. Huge win tonight taking over the lead in the wild card.

 

yeah what a game. this team is just this good. gonna be a fun stretch against the braves.
