it's a shame the phillies have torched kendrick's confidence like they have. he's not as good as last night but not as bad as his prior two starts either.

as far as madsen goes, do we really need any more proof that he is NOT a closer. does smoltz have anything left ? heck bring pedro in now to close.

Nice game... much better outcome then last night. Thrilled not to see Madson in there.

 

Halladay is 4-0 with a 0.82 ERA in his first four games with the Phillies. Exact same as Cliff Lee last season.
