Our pitching is in shambles right now, other than Superman Halladay.

 

well hopefully hamels shows last game wasn't a tease.

 

yeah and Kendrick as well. However, madsen looks like garbage and can at any time be tossing batting practice.

 

I'll take Hamels' last game and a loss any day if it gets his head back in the game.

Moyer pitched well tonight, and Castro & Dobbs did a great job offensively in their substitution roles. I'm happy with taking 2 out of 3 in Atlanta.

 

Moyer pitched extremely well. We need our pitching to get better, I guess it's better than having them hurt at the end of the year. We should have at least 2 more wins at this point.

 

the bullpen is more of a worry then the starting rotation, i know stating the obvious but we'll see. worried about happ as elbow injuries are the suk with pitchers.

they have to get madson out of the closers role, immediately. he's killing them and as much as halladay is a beast i don't want him to lead the league in CG's and wear his arm down.

 

I'm concerned with happ....I think this injury is going to haunt him down the road. Hope he can get this fixed to prevent further problems

 

yeah i dont like the sound of happ's issue. hopefully some rest and rehab does the trick. just don't want to hear the "S" word.

 

I'm eager to see blanton and romero

 

Placido back in the line-up tonight. Ben Fran gives Rauuuuuul a rest.

 

Ibanez has had quite a few off days. He didn't play on Sunday when I was there either.

King looked good early on. Now it's collapsed. Offense will need to explode in this one.

4 homeruns... really. Now you're going to call the bullpen? Did you not watch the 4th inning? Did you miss the 3 homeruns he gave up then?

 

cole is lost

 

He was awesome last Sunday. But we didn't do it offensively.

I want to think it's early in the season and Cole will come around. Last night I wasn't thinking this at all.

 

Cole is to the Phillies as Brian Boucher is to the Flyers...
