Phils just jumped to the top of the NL.

 

I love the trade. We keep Drabek, keep Happ, and get a right handed hitter with a bit of pop and speed to come off the bench. Our rotation just got a hell of a lot better.

 

Is it me or down this trade seem one-sided?

 

happ or moyer are going to the bullpen or something. no way we keep four lefties in the rotation.

 

I liked Knapp and Marson, but marson wasn't performing, he should have been a pro this year, imo. I just hope lee can keep up what he has been doing since the all star break, 3-0 with a 1+ era.

well scouts were saying the 6-5 knapp was a halladay clone and I would hate to see him become great somewhere else.

 

Knapp was going to be a couple of years away at least. This gives us a chance to win again now.

I think they may add a bench player to replace Bruntlett, but other than that, I think they are done.

It's not going to happen. They realize what's going to happen beyond 2010. Players will be leaving for big contracts. They'll need to keep some of that youth and cheap salary at the time in their prospects.

 

And for once they actually have young talent in the organization...
