This team has really surprised me with the additions of michael lewis, nate clements, and darrell jackson i thought this team would be a sure superbowl contender.Well there has been four disappointing teams the eagles,jets,49ers,and rams. I thought for shure that those four teams would be in the playoffs.I was really off thats pretty bad.
our coaching staff is lost...Nolan mumbles the same crap after every loss...he has no clue how to turn this thing around.... Did anyone notice how the playcalling that worked on the first drive was never used again? the rollouts disappeared and when Smith tried to throw over 5 yards, he airmailed everything..he couldn't even complete simple out patterns to the sidelines...BUST..
He's inaccurate and slow with his reads...I don't know how they ever thought he could become an elite QB...Nolan should just go now...
To be fair, I did give Alex time to prove himself. His 1st year he gets a pass for because he was a rook. Last year he did ok but nothing spectacular. He didnt blow my socks off. People were blinded from alex's craptyness because of Gore's great play. This year he has proved that he isnt going to get any better and I am done watching his crapty butt play. I really wanna see what Hill can do, he cant be any worse than Smith or Dilfer.
seriously..can he be worse than that the 50% completion pct from smith? the 3 picks? would it take hill 40 passes to reach 150 yards? cheer up steady...we win this week..we're a game outta first! LOL
alright!!! rays for a win: In all seriousness though, I really dont even want to watch the Monday nite game this week. I have no desire to watch this train wreck that they call a team. Its very depressing.
I know how you feel Pimpin...but I'll be sitting in front of the TV watching the slaughter anyway because it is MNF...
I'll watch it... for the 1st half. Then I'll change the channel because I dont want to get pissed off anymore. Well, thats usually what happens.:icon_cheesygrin:
It sure feels good to get another win, probably our last win. I didn't see the game, but from what I hear, Hill did good, I wonder if he'll do anything else good in the last two games?
We'll see how he does, the Bengals defense is pretty weak. The Bucs will be a good test for him this week.
hill did alright but he didnt throw for over 200 yds but he did have a high completion % im not going to say hes better then alex yet he was throwing alot of high % short to mid passes and his recievers actually held onto the ball
I dont care if they are deep balls being caught. The fact is that the offense looks better with Hill in there. I wanna see Hill finish the season and then I'll comment on him. For now he looks really good and is doing his thing out there.
the offense looked better because they didnt drop perfect passes(13 perfectly thrown balls were dropped in the first 3 games) also Ted Tollner im sure has had an impact you can definatly see a difference in the play-calling also the oline is now gelling after losing 2 pieces and playing really bad early on.
Umm, no. The niners are playing better bc Hill is leading them. He is establishing rythm, flow and tempo. He has players working for him instead of against him. He has players with confidence in him, players that believe in him. He leads with confidence and doesn't give up on a play. More importantly he doesn't freak out and lose it when the play is breaking dow, he makes a decision, makes it quick and goes with it. He also adds spark and flare, something we haven't had in a very long time. All of these things Smith does not. Tollner has helped, I agree....but Hill adds a few dimensions Smith and Difler aren't able to and our players like it.
if Alex Smith is not cut this offeseason, we might as well negate the next two seasons, and take up croquet and curling as niner fans..
I agree, Smith gets erratic and throws picks or gets sacked when under pressure. Hill looks good out there. He throws a nice ball. I am not scared to watch Hill play. When Smith is out there I am always nervous that he'll screw up. I just hope the coaching staff lets Hill fight for his new job at QB next year. They would be dumb not to.
