The Official Tampa Bay Rays Thread

Okay, now that this "worst to first" team is 23 games above .500 in freakin' July, I believe it's time to start an official thread

I am first and foremost a Braves fan, but I have followed the Rays since day one due to my proximity to their stadium plus the fact that I've attended 50+ games over the past 10 years. I have guarded optimism for their success this season; I guess I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it hasn't yet. This is an exciting team, no doubt, and I think their success is good for baseball in general. So, here's to the Rays:drinks:

 

this season really is mind boggling and for them to only get 1 all star player is a joke

Rays are releasing reports the David Price will be called up as early as this weekend. Also Rocco Baldelli will suit up in RF very shortly for the Rays.

 

Rays just traded for Jason Bay. They're giving up Reid Brignac and Jeff Niemann for him. Not a bad deal for either team. Bay to DH possibly?

 

He gonna be our RF with Rocco DH'ing.

 

I thought Bay went to the sox as part of the manny 3 team deal
