Great to see Matthews bounce back in a big way last night. 9 catches, zero drops. Hopefully the Bears game was just nerves.

No shocker at Ray Didi spitting out truth, but it's such a shame that Curtis just doesn't know when to turn his head or use the length in his arms. The majority of the times that he's been beat, he's been right there with the receiver.

 

i think that is something that will come with time. unfortunately on a team that is still weak at DB time isnt a luxury.

def glad to see matthews come back. kind of figured he had the jitters in chicago.

maclin & cooper both back at practice today but mccoy is dealing with turf toe.

 

so the 3rd pre-season game is the one that is supposed to give everybody a real look at what their team can do.

well ... i think this team is going to be really good barring any serious injuries.

 

I was really encouraged by the defense. They still need to get more of a pass rush, but they played so much better than the previous two games.

 

that they did ... the run defense was no doubt a huge worry but i think they will do better with that. plus i still dont think davis showed anything in regards to the full package of blitzes and pass rushing schemes.

 

Was your heart in your throat like mine was when Maclin went down? It looked bad in regular speed.

I'm stunned that both Josey and Tucker were cut. Only 3 RBs, including Polk who didn't play a snap in preseason being one of them? But they kept a 4th TE? At least Henery was cut.

 

Look up Dallas 2009 draft if you want to feel better

 

Look up Pittsburgh's 2008 and 2009 drafts. It'll make you feel somewhat better.
