The comics are good, but I like that they changed everything around in regards to the characters and some of the storyline. There are a bunch of novels that are good to. Rise of the Governor, Road to Woodbury and Part 1 of The Fall of the Governor. They don't have the characters like Rick, Glenn, etc. But they are still good reads. Also I highly HIGHLY recommend the Telltale video game versions.
If you can get the latest copy of TV Guide magazine, they have 4 Walking Dead collectible covers. My copy that came in the mail today had Rick on the cover.

it seems they are milking it so far with having seperate episodes to show how certain people from the group got away. btw - the one detail that seems lost (by design i think) is the deal when daryl was driving before the gov came to the prision, when they came accross a radio station broadcasting. was that people from this "sanctuary" ?

Holy crap. That girl was bat crap crazy. Can't believe there is only two episodes left. If I was Tyreese and Carol said to do what I had to do I would have throat freaked her and then forgave her. Not really. But I would have thought about forgiving her. And where was Judith at the end? Didn't see her.
Judith was on tyre seas back. Terminus isn't a bad place at least I don't think so. That'll come soon enough though.
