    I say Yes. He may not be a starter but he could pull backup and he wont need to switch to TE

    Alex Smith.

    A guy who lit it up in college in a spread and uber-failed as an NFL qb. I don't think he would have made a good WR/TE/H-Back either, but a spread offense qb rarely translates to a successful NFL qb.
