This^. You never heard crap from Moss during his stay in New England (not nationally anyway) until the absolute very end. Moss didn't heck Minnesota, bad decision-making in Minnesota did that.
whoa, whoa, whoa............. there is a huge wave of opinion that 'there is no risk with this move' both here at GIF and nationally and I couldn't disagree more. There ARE reasons that 30 teams passed on Moss. Moss is a huge risk and CAN hurt a team. This IS a gamble by the Titans. #1 -- Putting a player on the field who is going to jog his routes is similar to taking a player off the field and playing 10 on 11. #2 -- The time/attention that the coaches will need to give to Moss because he is new to their system and is a headcase takes away time/attention they can give to the rest of the team. #3 -- The Titans inherit Moss's $6.4 mill contract for this season. For each game he is on their roster, it costs the Titans $400,000 that Moss may/may not earn. That's a financial risk. #4 -- And whether anyone wants to believe it or not, a player with Moss's attitude CAN affect a locker room. He can rub off on other players who are susceptible and who also have problems with authority.
Moss's behavior is puzzling to me, because he's in a contract year. How many contract players have been kicked off of 2 teams in the same season?
true. who knows what's going on in the guy's head ................ and I can't see anyone giving him the huge contract he wants ............ he'll be lucky to get a small 1 or 2 year deal like T.O. just did at this point in his career ...........
