Not many running backs can make that play lol. Surprised they ran that play to the short side of the field, kinda stupid if you ask me. Johnson saved Fisher's awful playcall.

Why would you try to rely on Smith throwing 45 times a game and only allowing Gore to carry 15 times? I don't get it?!
raye and singletary said when smith took over that they were going to be going downfield more because their offense was stagnant prior to that and they added crabtree to the mix. they had been passing a lot even with Hill at qb but a large majority of the passes were to the backs and te's. i think also the injury to gore earlier in the season has made them re-think how much they can use him.
