So we are even, lol. Now to the game. I wouldn't be heartbroken if Lovie Smith was fired (FAT CHANCE) and he can take Bob Babich with him. Good job stopping the run but the pass defense was terrible. Lovie Smith should have been shot going for a FG down 21-7 with less then ten minutes left in the 4th quarter. I know it was 4th & 11 but you are down by two TDs, take a chance. This game was a flat out comedy seeing the Titans average starting field possesion was near mid field and the Bears average start inside their own 20.
I really don't understand our defensive scheme at times. We let the TE run around free way too much. It isn't like Scaife is some scrub, he can and will hurt you if you do not cover him. Regarding Rex..........well, he just needs to get out of Chicago. The only reason he came back for 2008 was to compete for the job with Orton. Now that Kyle seems to have established himself, it is time for Rex to move on.
Our current defensive scheme is the reason why we will be one and done in the playoffs IF we make the playoffs. It's just a shame that Lovie and Babich are too brain dead to see that.
