Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis will return to play this week following a team-imposed suspension provided his hamstring cooperates, according to coach Tony Sparano. Davis was left home for the Dolphins' 31-3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with reports surfacing that he nearly got into a fight with Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall And Davis allegedly showed up late to practice and dealing with a hangover. Now, the punishment is over. “Fellas, honestly, it’s going to stay within us," Sparano said when asked about the incidents. "If it’s going to get to you people, it’s going to get to you people not through me, OK. So that’s just the way I am, it’s the way I prefer it. So that’s the way it’s going to be. It’s something that I needed to do here and that’s what I chose to do. And it’s over and we’re getting ready to play the Redskins and I have every intention of Vontae being ready to go on Wednesday.â€
