The Chiefs and Dolphins have yet to complete the trade that would send left tackle Branden Albert to Miami, but the teams talked on Wednesday about a possible deal for the first time in several days.

Chiefs general manager John Dorsey told the NFL Network that the biggest remaining obstacle was that the sides had yet to agree on terms of the trade. That would indicate that the Dolphins have reached an agreement on a long-term contract with Albert contingent on the teams agreeing to draft-pick compensation.

The Chiefs don’t have a second-round pick after sending it to San Francisco as part of the Alex Smith trade. But Miami holds two second-round picks, Nos. 42 and 54 overall.

Dolphins want to give up 54. Or it's all a smokescreen.

Chiefs better do it before they make their pick...all leverage will be out the window then...reports are now that it's Fischer.
