Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden was scheduled this morning for a Feb. 16 jury trial in Brown County Circuit Court on a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a November domestic dispute according to Paul Srubas of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Judge William Atkinson also scheduled a Feb. 13 pretrial hearing. The scheduling was complicated by the Packers’ post-season playoff schedule, causing defense lawyer Steven Richards to seek a date in mid-February. Walden was charged as a result of a Nov. 25 dispute with his 24-year-old girlfriend in their town of Lawrence apartment. She sustained a bump and cut to her forehead and an injured thumb and originally claimed Walden pushed her into the bedpost.
