THE ONLY REAL LEGIT OPTION FOR HIM BEFORE THE JETS IS THE RAIDERS. THEY VERY WELL COULD TAKE HIM BUT I DECIDED TO GO WITH ELLIS. HE IS RIGHT UP THERE WITH MCFADDEN IN THE OVERALL RANKINGS BUT FILLS A BIGGER NEED FOR THEM IMO.
Yea , I'm thinking Raiders well thatd be a good for them for down the road.. a developed Russell and Mcfadden in 5years on the same offense is scary
So Atlanta passes on McFadden? damn Still need to coin toss also to get the correct order of the 3-5 teams in the draft.
If Dunn is gone, the Falcons might take him. I'd actually prefer we get Jake Long or Sedrick Ellis and pick up a RB later. McFadden is damn good, just not sure if there'll be a hole to run through.
STOP BLOODY TYPING IN CAPITALS FOR GOD'S SAKE! IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A RETARD. I'd rather take Lawrence Jackson over Merling at DE.
ATLANTA HAS GOT TO GET A QB PLAIN AND SIMPLE. BOO HOO, STFU AND TALK ABOUT THE DRAFT. FOR WHAT REASON WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE JACKSON OVER MERLING? I DON'T KNOW OF 1 PERSON THAT WOULD HAVE JACKSON RATED OVER HIM.
You're right, we do. Just not in the first round. We'd be paying way too much for a guy that's not much (if at all) better than the guys that should be available in the second.
I WOULD BEG TO DIFFER THAT A CHAD HENNE IS SLIGHTLY UNDER MATT RYAN ESPECIALLY WHEN LOOKING AT THE LONG TERM POTENTIAL. NORWOOD TEAMED UP WITH ONE OF THE OTHER QUALITY BACKS THAT COULD BE AVAILABLE IN THE 2ND OR 3RD ROUND WOULD MAKE A FINE TANDEM IMO.
So are you saying that the falcons should take Matt Ryan? If so I WOULD BEG TO DIFFER my self. Ryan will probably flal to the Panthers, so if were that high on him - god i hope not - we could easily trade back then take him at #3-5. Perosnnally i would love us to get Henne somewhere in the 2nd (probs with HOU pick) he is a very good pro prospect, and showed that at the senior bowl (and i am confident he will do at combine aswell). Ryan plain and simply has thrown way to many pick in an average conferene. 19 INT's in the ACC! imagine what he will do in the NFL! Anyways the falcons need to look for Sederick Ellis, there is way to much value in 2nd/3rd round guys at QB and RB to be looking around for one in the 1st. But if we took McFadden(if Ellis is gone) i could live with it.
YES I'M SAYING THEY SHOULD TAKE MATT RYAN. WILL THEY? WHO KNOWS. THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER THINGS YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT BESIDES AN INT TOTAL.
I'm not getting worked up or losing my temper here, I'm just telling Mouse that he looks like an utter twat typing in capitals. Special needs maybe? Anyway, it's up to him if he wants to continue looking like a complete dong.
So your saying that we should disregard INT's? so if someone throws 40TD's, but 50INT's in 1 year thats still a great year? please TD:INT ration is one of the most important stats for a QB,and Ryan isnt even close to a career 2:! in that. If you think that QB is our biggest need the n you are infact wrong. Our biggest needs are in the trenches, people havent seen how bad they are until this year because of YKW making plays. Also Ryan has no value in the top 5 no QB does, and it would be a tremendous waste of money and a missed oppurtunity to take a BIG step ub the right direction in turning this franchise around
TALK FOOTBALL OR GET LOST. YOU SHOULD HAVE LEARNED TO READ BIG LETTERS IN 1ST GRADE. SORRY IT IS SO DIFFICULT FOR YOU.
Take it to the fight club or stop argue here. If I had to move it, be sure some cards will come with it!
NOW WHERE DID I SAY ANYTHING ABOUT DISREGARDING INT'S? YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY WHEN SOMEONE HAS TO START SPINNING THINGS. THERE IS A LOT OF OTHER THINGS TO LOOK AT WHEN DRAFTING A QB BESIDES JUST INT'S WHICH IS THE ONLY ARGUMENT YOU BROUGHT UP CONCERNING RYAN.ISN'T LIST OF NEGATIVES IS VERY SHOT AND HE HAS A VERY HIGH CEILING IMO. I'M AWARE OF THE HELP THE FALCONS NEED ESPECIALLY UP FRONT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL AND THEY CAN FILL SOME OF THOSE HOLES AS WELL. BUT WHEN HARRINGTON OR REDMAN IS YOUR STARTING QB FOR MOST OF THE SEASON, IT'S PRETTY SAFE TO SAY QB IS A LARGE NEED. IF HE WANTS TO GO TO THE FIGHT CLUB HE CAN GO. I'M IN HERE TO TALK FOOTBALL WHICH APPARENTLY HE CAN'T DO.
