Veteran defensive tackle Marcus Stroud is retiring with the team where he began his career, signing a one-day contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Stroud, 33, is a three-time Pro Bowl selection who spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Jaguars. He last played in the NFL two years ago with the Buffalo Bills, starting 14 games and registering 49 tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble as he started 14 games. Stroud was traded to the Bills on March 1, 2008 in exchange for third-round and fifth-round draft selections. stroud and henderson were straight up earthquakes in their prime, completely overshadowed the fact that the jags have never been able to find a quality DE Stroud Played with Richard Seymour at Geogia Henderson Played with Albert Haynesworth at Tennessee Then Henderson and Stroud played together at Jacksonville...once they split up they werent very effective, but damn they put together good college and early pro careers by beefing up the middle of dlines
