Vicodin Case Could Have Dire Consequences For Saints

According to Peter King of Sports Illustrated, the consequences in the Saints Vicodin case could be dire for several people -- GM Mickey Loomis, if he's found to have covered up a felony theft of prescription medication; Saints linebacker coach Joe Vitt, if he's found guilty of stealing Vicodin; the trainers, if they're found culpable; and head coach Sean Payton, if he's found to have taken Vicodin without a prescription. Of course, the consequences could be just as dire for Santini if counter-claims by the Saints reveal the story he has told is exaggerated or invented.

I hope this is just sour grapes from an ex employee. If this turns out to be true then this season could be tricky. Imagine if we get our GM, Head Coach, and Linebacker coach suspended.

Burress wasn't. Sometimes money can't buy you complete freedom. I doubt they would serve any time. If it was their first conviction then probation is in order.
