yep, childress just said he hasn't been told favre is retiring........ maybe he's just stalling the formal announcement so he can try and talk him out of it .............

 

and it worked. Brett Favre's name had died down, and just like that, with one little trick, he has all of us back in his pocket where he wants us, and all eyes on ESPN/NFL Network to follow his story, only to return and piss you all off again. The man is a genius. :)

Great defense is debateable because of all the injuries, the o-line was horrible at times last season, AD is not a third down back and neither is Gerhart, can you honestly expect playoffs with all those HUGE question marks?

yep, espn just ran the changes this morning in the vegas odds for nfc favorites. yesterday, the vikes were the nfc favorite. today, the favorites are the cowboys and packers.

Really, a guy with no real significant comeback to an arguement discrediting someone else because he likes a different team.
The difference is that 9 wins plus a freebee at the end of the year won't make the playoffs with the Packers taking the division and the other two playoff teams most likely coming from the NFC east. Plus back then the entire secondary wasn't injured. Face it, without Farve, the offense won't be potent enough to cover for the depleted defense.

Forget the loss of points, just take away something as critical as ball control & that defense is taking a pounding this year.
