Adrian Peterson described himself as a "big fan" of Brett Favre, but the Vikings star running back also made it clear Thursday that he supports his team's current quarterbacks, Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels. Peterson addressed the Favre saga during an ESPN interview at a Nike event in California, saying "it's a possibility" when asked the potential of the record-setting quarterback coming out of retirement to join the Vikings. "So just him coming in, just the leadership he would definitely bring," Peterson said. "A guy that's well-respected, been around the league a long time. I'm a big fan of him. I grew up watching him and just loving the passion he played with. That would be something he would definitely bring to the locker room." Source: The Star-Tribune
I'm also a big fan of Favre. My favorite non-Cowboys player of all time. But even I want him to go away :icon_frown:
AP is just kissing some butt cause he aint got crap for a qb in Minn. You think he would be saying this if he had even a half butt qb. The answer is simple. NO. AP is a big fan of anyone who could make his team better, and a smart man for it. Now I dont think Favre has anything left, but the chance alone he does makes him better then any current qb on that roster
I haven't had a Favre injury update in 3 days. What ever happened to those X-rays that were supposedly sent to Minny?
Fine AP, get yourself a set of Favre bedding hboy: I'm sure, you wasn't, when he was with the Pack and played the Vikes :icon_wink:
