Second round games are up in the sportsbook. Bet the house on Ghana :icon_cheesygrin:

Ghana has the hometown advantage, lol

I would have rather played Germany, they are injury riddled to some key players.

I would have prefered to play against the USA too :icon_wink:

We were wondering if Ghana was really trying to score again to win that group and face England, or just settling for the loss to play us.

The Americans will hate me for saying this shortly after the loss, but looking at their side of the draw, they will not get a better chance to mix it up in the semi's.

Ghana are a good side, but I think the Yanks should have put them away today.

The problem is that America are saturated with sports which are ahead of soccer. Considering you have the left overs from Football, Baseball, Basketball, possibly even Hockey, it's not too shabby.

You guys only care about soccer every 4 years. No big deal, you'll forget about it tomorrow.

I just hope you host the 2018 WC so I can finally watch a WC game live that I actually remember (I was 4 in 1986 when my dad took me to one).

Anyway, tomorrow Mexico has the game of our lifetimes. We'll give them hell to the fagentineans.

recently read an article that proclaims soccer as the fastest growing sport in the country. so in 10 years maybe we'll have something, who knows.

Yeah, I heard that same thing back in 1994 when you hosted the WC. Then in 1996, when the MLS started. Then in 2002 your team made the final 8 and that time they said "NOW soccer will take over"...

    See where I'm going?

    same place mexico is going?
    No where fast?

Ill give you one point, no one will care no. Ill care, cause I follow MLS. But one fan doesnt make a sport

Mexico is having its biggest game in the past 20 years, and I'm already nervous as it is...

If I'm not seen again around here, just assume I had a heart attack during the Mexico-Argentina game.

    That's all.

I watch a ton of soccer too. I just don't follow MLS because its almost unwatchable sometimes. I've been to a few DC United games though. I watch the Premier league, whichever other competitions Villa is in, and Champions League. Might pick up an Italian team next year.
The problem with the US for the last 2 years has been lapses in the defense. Sucks that we're out but you can't expect to survive too long when you consistently give up goals in the first 10 minutes. Definitely not going to see a bracket line up like that for you very often.

England just got jobbed by an official out of position. Officials are missing game changing calls too often in this tournament. Even has been offside all tournament too.

We just witnessed the WORST call in sports in the last 44 years, since the exact same thing in 1966. I can't believe it.
