Westbrook won't sign off on payments

No link as it hasn't gotten alot of attention yet.

But on the local Philly radio station, 610WIP, is saying that Eagles RB Brian Westbrook refuses to sign off on the paperwork that will let the team recoup the $3 million dollars that he was accidently given last year. The agent, the league and the union all signed off on the process. But for some reason, Westbrook doesn't want to give the money back.

 

Is this an Eskin report?

 

Unfortunately yes. But Westbrook was on the air saying that he isn't happy about the other players getting checks. whatever that means

 

I heard that the Eagles weren't sending him paychecks, but I hadn't heard anything about Westbrook being the problem to recoup the money.

Fletcher has told Westbrook to sign off on the thing. The comment by Brian was tongue in cheek ("You know, it kinda sucks that everybody else is getting game checks and I'm getting nothing..."). It's Eskin making something out of nothing.

I bet he leaves as soon as he's able too..

 

and that will be when his better days have passed by.
