The Hives are coming to Mexico again in october. There's a good chance Green Day comes in November, for the Corona Festival (they come every time a new album is released). This will be a good year.
Got my tickets for the Hives on october 8th. I'm glad it's 7 months from now...if it was next week I'd probably skip it because I'm not feeling like it. A lot can happen in 7 months. BTW first time in my life that a "fan sale" actually works and was not a fraud.
The Hives announced a North American tour and will play in Philadelphia on September 29th. One week before the come to Mexico. If you can, you definitely need to check it out...
I have to go on a business trip on the 30th so that's unfortunately not going to work for me. I wish it wasn't on a Sunday. No concerts on school nights!!
Wasn't sure quite where on the Forum to stick this one but it was inspired by a Twitter conversation that I saw take place between Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Chuck D... talking about naps. Where Icons Go to Nap - Sports Chump
Public Enemy is one of my all-time favorite hip-hop groups. Chuck D was such a badass that it is really funny to hear him talking about naps. I'm glad you posted that @SportsChump. TJ - In addition to having the name Chuck D, he always used to wear a Phillies hat as well. Friends used to joke that was the reason I liked him. He's a phony though...his last name is Ridenhour haha.
Oasis are getting back together after a 15-year tantrum and the world has gone insane. Here's hoping they tour this side of the Atlantic too.
Putting this chain of links in the "What Am I Listening To" chain because it involves a music festival we flew out to LA to see, but here's part one and our visit to Crypto.Com arena... Going Back to Cali, Part One: The Statuesque Nature of Crypto.com Arena - Sports Chump
More to come, Dawk. Don't you worry. The concert was f**k**ing outstanding! And yes, I will have videos.
Part II of my recent trip to L.A., which includes a visit to the Academy Awards Museum, Grammy Museum, Comedy Store and Sunset Strip... Going Back To Cali, Part Two: Oscars, Grammys and the Sunset Strip - Sports Chump
