After watching the CBGB movie yesterday, I decided to search some shows at CBGB's. I found this gem that other Bad Brains fans might enjoy.
Man they dont make em like that anymore...unfortunately. How ducking intense would it have been to actually be there, good god? I miss punk shows like that. I dunno maybe they're still around, it's probably I'm just old as duck now and would be like GOD DANG HOOLIGAN KIDS WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU if I went.
I'd rather go to a show like that than see any band in the world play a stadium/arena concert. Hands down, all day every day no questions asked.
Only the bareliest of a stage, audience practically at band level...100 plus degrees, hard to draw a full breath because the air is so thick with evaporating sweat, 8' quonset ceiling dripping with condensed sweat, music so loud you think your heads going to explode, cheap beer flying everywhere... ...yeah duck Beyonce at the Palladium.
Do Any of you watch the VOICE? I don't normally but this season there is this girl. Christina Grimme. OMG she is good. She has been amazing, re-doing some songs. and I Do like her
