Most people can say to a certain extent the Saints got somewhat screwed this season. We was trying so damn hard to be the first team to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. Seems the city of New Orleans is making a huge push these past few days to host the game again in 5 years. I can see that happening. Brees, Payton, Loomis and company, their contracts expire during that season. What better way to send off all of them than to win the Bowl that year. Our defense will be shored up by then and we should be hitting on all cylinders during that year. If there are no injuries of course. What a better way, besides giving our second rounder back which is not going to happen, or reward us with another chance to play in the Dome for the Ring. I hope they get that chance. I say that because of all the people I see around here sporting 49er and Raven gear this weekend. Wish it was us.
