Looks like we might be heading towards having member awards. Instead of members showing each award they have received, members will get to display an icon for an award they won by majority vote until someone else gets voted as the award winner. So what awards should we have? Here are some we have had in the past: Joe Montana Award This award is for the Most Valuable Poster for the month. Red Cashion Award This award goes to the Most Valuable Moderator on the site. Earl Campbell Award This award is for the winner of the Rookie of the Month award. Howard Cosell Award Top NFL News Reporter for the month. Warren Sapp Award This award is for the top NFL Smack Talker for the month. Ocho Cinco Award This award goes to the funniest member on the site for the month. Jimmy "The Greek" Award This award is for the top Bookie. Jim Brown Award Top NFL Blogger for the month. UPS Award This award is for the top recruiter for the month who has delivered the most new members to the site. Donovan McNabb Award This is awarded each month by member votes to the member who has shown the least amount of spine, has been a total drama queen and/or redfined what a cat is here on GridironFans.com. Homer Simpson Award This award goes to the biggest NFL homer on the site. Bob Ross Award This award is for the top Graphics Artist. Jim Thorpe Award Top NCAA News Reporter for the month. Man-Genius Award This award goes to the overall NFL Trivia Contest leader at the end of each month. John Madden Award This award is given to the members who posts nonsensical bullcrap, posts that are completely irrelevant and unneeded, with no prior thought put into them whatsoever. Steve Sabol Award This monthly award goes to the member who posted the best Viral Video in the Viral Video forum.
Might as well name the John madden Award the HH Award then. :icon_cheesygrin: How about A Heisman or Joe Pa Award for the top NCAA poster?
I think the administrators should pick the Valuable Mod each month. There are things that moderators do behind the scenes that the members don't see and could win them Mod of the Month therefore the admin. should vote on a winner each month.
