Who Is The Face Of The Lions

    thats the only thing i could identify ina police line as a lion. all the players suck or are too quiet

    matt millen. even though he is gone he is still the "face" of the team. the damage has been done. it is too late. accept it.

    Seriously, with Mllen FINALLY gone the Lions are in rebuild mode. Until then, Jimmy Hoffa is the face of the Lions.

    Over recent years the Lions have used the franchise tag on Jeff Backus and Cory Redding. Both were then rewarded with long term deals for big bucks.

    I know linemen aren't the usual thought of as a "face of the franchise" but given the investment placed in them and the Lions needing veteran leadership on both sides of the ball, they should be the ones proving this team was right to show them a high level of commitment.
